Factory Service Training Class Signup

Please note course structure changes for 2012 Service Training.

Both factory and field classes will be held as 2 day full time hands on sessions. Corresponding online training modules must be completed a week prior to your requested class with a passing grade of 80% or greater as a prerequisite to any factory or field class.

Prior to attending classes, technicians must be able to - read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics, understand and apply basic electrical and hydraulic theories, have operational knowledge of a digital multi-meter, Hydraulic oil pressure gauge and basic hand tools.

Classes will include hydraulic and electrical control system calibrations and adjustments - along with fault handling, testing and troubleshooting procedures. The four classes offered are; scissor lifts, booms, large booms, and telehandlers. These classes focus on the most current models and control systems.

Course : Genie Scissors

Description
The scissor lifts class will cover all DC and IC models. DC Scissors include machines equipped with Gen 5 and Smart Link control systems. IC scissors include the GS90 and new GS69 product families. For field classes we will include GS 68 models.

Prerequisites
Prerequisites for this course are the successful completion of DC Scissors and IC Scissors online training courses.

Course : Genie Booms

Description
The booms class covers all DC and IC models up to and including S-85. DC booms are late model Sep-Ex drive machines and the Z-40 with Plus 1 and Zapi control system. The IC booms are machines equipped with the ALC 500 control system including the new dual capacity S60X and S80X Models. Technicians will also be introduced to WebGPI – the software used to connect and monitor the ALC500 control cards.

Course : Genie Large Booms

Description
The large booms class includes Z80, S125 and Z135 models. These machines all share the ALC1000 control system. WebGPI will be utilized to aid in fault handling, calibration, and to perform software updates.

Prerequisites for this course are the successful completion of Z80, S125 and Z135 online training courses.

Description
The telehandler class covers TH and GTH model 6k, 8k, 10k and 5519 telehandlers.

Prerequisites for this course are the successful completion of both telehandler online training courses.
