Lofty Genie

Hampshire Plant Hire Ltd from Winchester, England, recently rented a Genie GS™-2632 electric scissor lift to contractors Watson & Haig.

The electric scissor was used to rewire the church in Wherewell near Andover, Hants. The Genie GS™-2632 provided the operator with the platform height necessary to access high level work zones [26 ft (7.92 m)]. With a width of only 2 ft 8" (81 cm), the GS™-2632 was the ideal choice to access the narrow aisles and confined spaces around the church. The zero inside turning radius provided excellent maneuverability around corners. With its 3 ft (91 cm) platform extension rolled-out, the platform was large enough to comfortably accommodate the two workers and their tools.
