Genie 's S™-60 HC Telescopic Boom Receives Construction Equipment Magazine's Top 100 Products Award

REDMOND, WASH. (Jan. 15, 2007) – Genie Industries’ S™-60 HC Telescopic Boom recently received Construction Equipment magazine’s Top 100 Products of 2006 Award. The Construction Equipment Top 100 Awards call special attention to the most significant products introduced during the year.

The Genie S-60 HC Telescopic Boom delivers the highest load capacities in the industry. The closest competitive unit is referred to as a ‘dual capacity’ unit which offers 500 lbs unrestricted and 1,000 lbs restricted range of motion. The platform on Genie’s new S-60 HC is rated for 750 lbs, 50 percent more capacity throughout the entire working envelope. In the maximum capacity zone, the platform supports loads up to 1,250 lbs, 25 percent more load capacity than the competition, and provides 40 ft 8 in of outreach, including up to three people and gear.
